You will develop automated test systems for Victron Energy, one of the leading companies in designing products for battery-based energy systems. These test systems will be developed and build in Groningen and eventually be placed in their production lines in Asia to program, calibrate and/or test Victron Energy products.

Also, you will analyze the test data for making further improvements to the test procedure or the product. Various techniques come together, but the core techniques are electrical engineering and information technology. You communicate with the R&D and Supply Chain departments within Victron Energy. Your input on the development of test methods would be highly appreciated. The test design team consists of 3 people with the same passion: creating the best product for a satisfied customer. You work on various projects simultaneously, so the ability to prioritize is vital.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of new production test equipment

• Make a test-plan together with the R&D-Engineer

• Order the test equipment (electronic loads, power supplies, text-fixture, etc.)

• Make wiring schematic(s) of the test setup

• Wire the test fixtures (or let someone else do that)

• Mount and wire the equipment in a 19” rack (or let someone else do that)

• Develop the test sequence in NI Teststand, using NI LabVIEW, batchfiles, and another plugin where necessary.

2. Maintenance and support of already running test equipment. This support might be urgent, leading to longer hours in rare cases

3. Analyze the test results like First Pass Yield

4. Help further to improve the results and effectiveness of our testers

5. Communication with internal and external stakeholders (R&D, Operations and production facilities in Asia).
