As their Product Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing their local sales opportunities plan, overseeing and supporting key accounts technically and commercially, and help driving the growth of their presence in Europe. Your role will be crucial in fostering strong customer relationships and uncovering new business opportunities. This position will be responsible for supporting and extending the sales efforts for Transmitters, Safety Barriers, PLCs, DCS/UCS, and Safety Systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Improving the market position and market share in collaboration with the Sales Department;
- Taking initiative for development of the products and/or optimize regarding the various product-market combinations;
- Supporting Sales by visiting customers;
- Providing commercial and technical support directly to the customer during negotiations about offers and working out offers if necessary;
- Reviewing application and purchase specifications of the relevant products and systems;
- Translating (on a technical level) and transferring the wishes of the customer to engineering;
- Acting as the commercial and technical expert regarding our products;
- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies in cooperation with the Sales department to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets;
- Maintain and develop a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer care and personal support;
- Identify and engage new sales opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize business potential;
- Analyze market trends, collect customer feedback, and monitor competitor actions to refine sales strategy;
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement impactful sales promotions and campaigns;
- Regularly report on sales performance and offer actionable insights to Management,
Travel within the assigned region(s) as needed to engage with clients and participate in industry events and trade shows.

Wij vragen
Dit breng je mee als software engineer
- Een afgeronde opleiding richting bijv. Electrotechniek, Software Engineering of Mechatronica
- Ervaring met Sigmatek LASAL of bereidheid om dit onder de knie te krijgen.
- Kennis van Structured Text (ST) vanuit de IEC 1131-3 / EN 61131-3 standaard
- Ervaring met object georiënteerd programmeren (OOP) in industriële automatisering
- Ervaring met het configureren, programmeren en inbedrijfstellen van PLC-systemen.
- Kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
Relevante PLC-ervaring:
Kandidaten met ervaring in andere PLC-systemen kunnen met een cursus overstappen naar Sigmatek LASAL. Ervaring met de volgende systemen zijn daar een voorbeeld van:
- Beckhoff (TwinCAT)
- B&R Automation Studio
- CODESYS-gebaseerde PLC’s (bv. WAGO, Eaton, Lenze, Bosch Rexroth, IFM, Weidmüller)
Met een solide basis in bovenstaande PLC-systemen is de overstap naar Sigmatek LASAL goed te maken met een interne training en externe cursus.
